Clock Off

Terms of Service

Last updated 15 August 2026

These terms cover your use of Clock Off. By creating an account you agree to them.

The service

Clock Off, operated by Clock Off AI, builds and manages Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns for your business. You connect your own Facebook advertising account and Page, and we create campaigns within it on your behalf.

Your account

  • You must give accurate details and keep your password secure.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • You must be authorised to act for the business you sign up, and to grant access to its advertising account and Page.

Fees and billing

  • Plans: Starter $99, Growth $399 and Scale $699 per month. All prices are in New Zealand dollars and, where GST applies, are inclusive of GST.
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, our payment provider, and renew automatically each month until cancelled. We never see or store your card details — payment happens on Stripe's own secure pages.
  • You can cancel at any time from Billing → Manage billing. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for; you keep access until then. We do not refund the remainder of a part-used month, but nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act or other law that cannot be excluded.
  • If a payment fails, Stripe retries it automatically. While payment is outstanding you can still see your account and campaigns, but launching new campaigns may be unavailable until payment is resolved.
  • If we change a price we will email you at least 30 days before it affects you.

Advertising spend

Advertising costs are billed to you directly by Meta, through the ad account you connect. They are separate from any fee for this service. Campaigns we create start paused, and nothing spends until it is activated.

You remain responsible for your advertising budget and for the content of ads run from your account. We aim to produce effective campaigns but do not guarantee any particular result, number of leads, or cost per lead.

Your content

You keep ownership of your logo, photos, brand and business information. You grant us permission to use them for the purpose of creating and running your advertising. You confirm you have the right to use anything you upload.

AI-generated ads

Ad copy, images and campaign suggestions are generated with artificial intelligence. AI drafts can be imperfect: wording may be inaccurate, out of date, or occasionally phrasing you would not have chosen yourself. That is why campaigns start paused and run only after review — by you, your team, or by us where your plan includes publishing on your instruction. Activating a campaign (or approving one for us to activate) is confirmation that you accept its content.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss caused by AI-drafted content in a campaign that was activated after that review, and we do not guarantee AI-generated copy will always be correct. If an ad is ever wrong or inappropriate, pause it and tell us — we will fix or replace it.

If your account is compromised

  • Anything done with your login is treated as done by you, until you tell us otherwise. Keep your password strong, unique to this service, and share it with nobody.
  • We guard your ad spend automatically: daily budgets are capped by a per-account safety ceiling, and budget changes or campaign switch-ons trigger an email to the account's owners with a one-click freeze link that pauses everything.
  • If you suspect someone else has access, use that freeze link (or message us) and change your password immediately.
  • To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss caused by unauthorised access to your account or your Meta assets that we could not reasonably have prevented — for example a password reused from another breached site.

Acceptable use

  • Follow Meta's Advertising Standards and applicable advertising law.
  • Do not use the service for anything unlawful, misleading or discriminatory.
  • Do not attempt to access other customers' data or disrupt the service.

Availability

We work to keep the service running but do not promise uninterrupted availability. Parts of it depend on Meta's platform, which can change or become unavailable outside our control.

Ending your use

You can disconnect Facebook or ask us to delete your account at any time — see the data deletion page. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms or Meta's policies.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost business opportunity or lost advertising spend — whether from campaign performance, AI-generated content, platform changes or anything else connected to the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for all claims in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. You use the service as a business, and nothing here limits rights under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

Indemnity

If a third party brings a claim against us because of content you supplied, instructions you gave, or your breach of these terms or Meta's policies, you will cover the losses and reasonable costs that claim causes us.

Governing law

Clock Off AI operates from New Zealand. These terms are governed by New Zealand law and the New Zealand courts have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
